2024 Jeep Gladiator: Backcountry Exploring For Your Adventurous Soul

Jeep's 2024 Gladiator combines legendary 4x4 prowess with open-air freedom and enhanced safety features for unforgettable adventures year-round.

The latest model offers a redesigned seven-slot grille, all-new dashboard layout, larger infotainment touchscreen and seven wheel designs with versatile tire sizes ranging from 32 to 33 inches.

Jeep includes a premium soft-top as well as two hardtop options. Removable doors offer natural ventilation on hot late summer or early autumn days and may be re-installed quickly during inclement weather.

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is available in Sport, Willys, Rubicon and Mojave trims. Mojave X and Rubicon X trims are new to the lineup and offer exclusive features for nature enthusiasts.

A desert-tuned suspension allows the Mojave X to navigate arid and sandy terrain. Off-Road+ mode prevents wheel slip by locking the rear axle and allows beachgoers drive in deep sand.

The Rubicon X model delivers an exceptional 4:1 low-range gear ratio for driving over rocks. An electronic sway bar disconnect enhances front-wheel articulation and is comfortable on rugged trails.

Both vehicles offer high ground clearance in rough terrain and are fitted with skid plates to protect vital engine components from off-road hazards.

Under the Hood

The base powerplant is a 3.6-liter, V6 engine which delivers 285 hp and 260 Ib-ft of torque power. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or available eight-speed automatic.

Models with the standard manual transmission are rated 16 city/23 MPG highway. Estimated fuel efficiency for models with automatic transmission is 17city/23 MPG highway.

Jeep’s Gladiator stop-and-start system conserves fuel over short distances. Its low-end torque produces lower RPMS for navigating steep inclines and rocky trails. An 11.6-inch ground clearance allows the truck to navigate rough terrain and deep ruts with ease.

The motor and wiring are waterproofed and to help prevent the vehicle from stalling during water crossings or in shallow rivers.

Comfort and Convenience

All 2024 Gladiator models have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration. Car occupants can also connect two Bluetooth-enabled phones simultaneously.

Alexa has been enhanced with a new seven-mode technology that cuts out background noise when passengers use voice prompts. Optional 12-way power front seats offer optimal visibility for off-road adventures with plenty of obstacles ahead.

Engineers have upgraded the infotainment system to the largest and most advanced display ever offered in a Gladiator model. The 12.3-inch HD touchscreen delivers clear visual quality in open-air conditions with the rooftop and doors off.

The immersive interface adds an updated Uconnect 5 system which operates five times faster than its predecessor. Uconnect 5’s navigation system simplifies planning no matter where your next adventure leads–to the beach or a national park.

An optional entertainment feature also transforms the vehicle into a mobile hub for streaming music or movies, listening to podcasts and playing online games. An optional off-road adventure guide highlights 68 Jeep Badge of Honor trails, perfect for nature lovers, birdwatchers, mountain bikers and trail runners.

Drivers can upgrade to a premium subscription and unlock 3000 more off-road trails. The catalog includes route descriptions, turn by turn directions, looming obstacles ahead and difficulty expectations as rated by experts.

The Uconnect 5 system also accommodates five driver user profiles. It allows drivers to customize side mirror angles, seat positioning, audio preferences and steering wheel settings. A one-touch operating button allows each profile to load quickly.
