Dodge has introduced a special edition of the popular RAM 1500 which heralds 10 years of innovative design and performance.
The RAM 2022 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition adds metal pedals, a special shift dial for automatic transmission, a new Indigo/Sea Salt Grey interior color combo and a 19-speaker stereo.
“The new 2022 RAM 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition celebrates 10 years of luxury pickup truck leadership, featuring the ultimate combination of capability, luxury and refinement,” said Mike Koval Jr., RAM brand chief executive officer.
“RAM 1500 Limited buyers have enjoyed the highest quality materials for a decade now and the Limited 10th Anniversary Edition is the latest example of how Ram delivers the most luxurious pickups in the industry.”
Under the Hood
The 2022 RAM 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition comes in two engine figurations: A 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 260 hp delivering 480 Lb-ft of torque; and a 5-7-liter V8 engine mild-hybrid assist that provides 395 hp and 410 Lb-ft of torque.
Both power plants are mated with Torqueflite 8-speed automatic transmissions.
Comfort and Convenience
Inspired by the original RAM 1500 Limited, the interior of the Luxurious RAM Limited features a new Indigo/Sea Salt Grey color scheme, quilted leather-wrapped seats and a new suede headliner. A 10th Anniversary badge is embossed on the center console lid, with a complementary 10th Anniversary graphic shown on the driver’s information screen start-up.
All Anniversary Edition models come with multifunctional tailgates and a 60/40 split that allows the tailgate door swing open horizontally. Other standard features include:
- heated exterior mirrors with memory and supplemental turn signals
- automatic headlamps
- acoustic front door glass
- deep tint sunscreen glass for hot sunny days
- rain-sensitive windshield wipers and a ton of interior LED lighting
Safety
The 2022 Anniversary Edition RAM includes Electronic Stability Control to help prevent flip overs and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go automatically, which maintains a pre-fixed distance from the car directly ahead.
Blind-spot monitoring technology helps alert drivers when another vehicle is in an area blocked from view. Side impact door beams protect passengers by carrying the brunt of collisions.
