Wards has nominated the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the annual Wards 10 Best User Experience List.
Both vehicles have been applauded for having FamCam, a rear-seat monitoring system and the all-new Uconnect 5 system.
“It has the right mix of physical switchgear and an easy-to-navigate touchscreen,” said Christie Schweinsberg, Wards Intelligence Principal Analyst. “We also love FamCam, a ceiling-mounted camera above the second row that helps parents answer the most elusive question: who touched whom first?

The Uconnect 5 system of the Chrysler Pacifica has been redesigned with a 10.1-inch screen. It is capable of receiving over-the-air updates and offers wireless functionality for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Users can integrate phone apps into the infotainment system without having to use a USB cord.

In the Grand Cherokee L, the Uconnect 5 interface offers a 8.4-inch touchscreen. It responds quickly to inputs and syncs with a six-speaker stereo, satellite radio, HD radio, USB ports, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Wards reviewed overall user experience of 25 vehicles, appraising them on user-friendliness, infotainment features, sound systems, vehicle connectivity, driver assistance technology, information/displays, system compatibility, voice control and overall value.
