The 2022 Dodge Charger and 2022 Dodge Durango are living up to their heritage. Both vehicles were designated as “Best Value in America” at annual Vincentric Awards.
Vincengtric, a data analysis firm for the automotive industry, identified the 2022 Dodge Charger as offering the lowest ownership costs in the large sedan category. It highlighted the 2022 Dodge Durango as the lowest ownership costs in the large SUV category.
“It has become more important than ever to make informed and intelligent financial decisions,” said David Wurster, Vincentric President. “The Vincentric Best Value in America Awards use data-driven analysis designed to give financial insight to consumers who are planning the purchase of a new vehicle.”
2022 Dodge Charger
The 2022 Dodge Charger is a full-size, four-door sedan. It is powered by a standard 292-hp, 3.6-liter V6 engine that pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
With enough room for five adults, the front seats are designed for long road trips. There is ample leg and headroom for occupants in the second row. The rear bench also is spacious enough to accommodate taller passengers.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2022 Dodge Charger an overall safety rating of five out of five stars, with four stars in the frontal crash test and five stars in the side crash and rollover tests.
2022 Dodge Durango
Dodge offers the 2022 Durango in three engine choices: a 293-hp 3.6-liter V6, a 360-hp 5.7-liter V8 and a 475-hp 6.4-liter V8. Every engine is paired with an 8-speed transmission.
The 2022 Durango is a three-row SUV with seven seats. Front seats are nicely cushioned and supportive with ample headroom in the first and second rows for taller occupants.
NHTSA gave the 2022 Dodge Durango an overall safety rating of four out of five stars. It received five stars in the side crash test and four stars in the frontal crash test.
